Rulers in Aladdin can be standalone or attached to an element in the scene. The total length of a ruler is displayed. To attach a ruler to an element, just drag one of its end point to an end point of that element, such as a corner of a foundation. To detach it from the element, simply drag the end point of the ruler away from the end point of the element. You can play with the following embedded model to see how they work.
