  • Janice Mokros

    Janice Mokros

    Chair

    Dr. Mokros is a Senior Research Scientist at Tumblehome. A national leader in STEM education, she has served as Principal Investigator or Project Director of numerous federally or privately funded projects in several institutions. She holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Child Development at the University of Minnesota.

  • Dave Bursell

    Dave Bursell

    Director

    Mr. Bursell is Vice President of Business Development at MoviTHERM, managing a global team to develop and execute strategic objectives for customer value and company growth. Previously, he was VP of Business Development and Product Management at FLIR Systems. He holds an MBA from Boston University.

  • Alejandra Magana

    Alejandra Magana

    Director

    Dr. Magana is the W.C. Furnas Professor in Enterprise Excellence in the Department of Computer and Information Technology at Purdue University. An internationally recognized expert in modeling and simulation for science education, she has published 60 peer-reviewed journal papers. She holds a Ph.D. in engineering education from Purdue University.

  • Larry Weathers

    Larry Weathers

    Director

    Mr. Weathers is the emeritus K–12 Director of Science and Technology of Arlington Public Schools in Massachusetts. A renowned educator with more than 40 years of teaching experience, he has received a Presidential Citation from the White House for Excellence in Science Teaching and was inducted into the Massachusetts Teaching Hall of Fame. He holds a Master's Degree in physics from Michigan State University.

  • Charles Xie

    Charles Xie

    President & CEO

    Dr. Xie is the President, CEO, and Founder of IFI. A computational physicist by training, he has developed a series of scientific and engineering software used by students, teachers, and researchers worldwide. Throughout his career he has directed more than 15 research grants from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
